About his Album “AZUR” :
Fejká’s 3rd studio album „Azur“ coming in Spring 2025 marks his close relationship to the Canary Islands where he regularly spends his winter time after heavy touring. Seeking solace through the powerful but also calming nature, his melodic atmospheric signature style became ethereal and warm as never before. He immersed himself in introspection, creativity & close friendships, enabling a new feeling of relief and peace which marks the beginning of his new journey. Manifested in the azure colour of a Canarian Agave Plant on his album cover, his sounds became deeply interwoven with the island's unique and refreshing character.
‘Azur’ was born after the triumph of his second studio album Hiræth when Fejká decided to pause his rigorous touring schedule. Escaping the harsh German winter, he sought solace on the serene Atlantic island of Gran Canaria, where he immersed himself in introspection and creativity. Surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, ‘Azur’ offers a taste of the ethereal melodies he cultivated from the island's pristine environment, setting the beginning of a new chapter.
Hailing from the picturesque Black Forest Region in Southern Germany, Fejká's journey began when discovered as a 16 year old teenager by electronic luminary Christian Löffler. His ascent to the top spot in Apple Music's premier electronic playlist and a triumphant album tour spanning over 30 cities swiftly cemented the sound smith’s reputation as a star in the electronic music scene. His atmospheric signature sound captivated audiences, seamlessly blending elements of deep house, indie-pop, neo-classical ambient, and techno into a distinct sonic tapestry.
Fejká's talent goes beyond studio recordings; he seamlessly translates his organic compositions into captivating live experiences, wowing audiences at prestigious festivals like Feel, and Bucht der Träumer. His distinctive sound resonates with listeners worldwide, from Tokyo to Singapore to Mexico City. In addition to his musical pursuits, Fejká is a skilled filmmaker, crafting and directing all accompanying artwork and music videos, enriching his creative vision in the visual realm.
To date, Fejká has amassed over 100 million streams, with a dedicated following of 1 million monthly listeners. Having collaborated with mainstays like Löffler, Hania Rani, and Jan Blomqvist, and earning praise and support from peers such as Ben Böhmer, Kiasmos, and Chris Luno, his impact on electronic music is palpable. Beyond the studio, Fejká curates the Pulsing event series in Stuttgart, inviting esteemed artists like Löffler and Natascha Polké to create unforgettable musical experiences together.
With a momentous summer on the horizon, Fejká just marked an outstanding highlight playing live at the highly renowned Tanzwüste Stage during last year's Fusion Festival on June 30th. His latest release, ‘AZUR’ is a tantalizing glimpse into what lies ahead. Moreover, with the launch of his new label, Coexist, the electronic maestro hints at even grander ventures ahead.
